Training center

In spring 2025, we opened our own Develon training center in Mannheim for our dealers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Europe and Eastern Europe.

• In a modern training workshop and a bright, flexibly designed seminar room, up to 40 training participants can be trained simultaneously in various modules.
• Our training center is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and offers sufficient space for all types of machine testing and calibration work.
• Fully equipped toolboxes with everything a mechatronics engineer could wish for are part of the standard equipment.
• The training workshop also houses a hydraulic test bench as well as various engines, gearboxes, axles, hydraulic control blocks in dismantled condition, and much more.
• The training courses usually take place in small groups of 6-8 participants. This enables intensive and professional training in which no participant is left behind. In addition, each participant has enough time to test their knowledge and what they have learned on the machines under professional guidance.
• Participants can expand their knowledge and exchange experiences with each other in over 25 different technical training courses. DEVELON has thus created another central location in Europe for the exchange of experiences, which has already been very well received by dealers in the first few months.
• Training courses on the latest “Smart Features” such as “E-Stop”, the virtual wall, the transparent bucket 2.0 and 310° radar sensor monitoring are just as much a part of the program as maintenance and repairs to Develon’s own engines.
• And because “Developing Onward” also applies to us in the area of training, our team is constantly working to further improve training methods in order to keep our finger on the pulse.

In addition to training directly on the machines, 24/7 web-based training courses support education and further training.

• The web-based training courses mainly cover basic technical information about Develon products, but also warranty procedures.
• The Develon Service Training Team develops online training courses on specific topics, including video tutorials on specific calibrations or technical interventions.
• The average duration of our web-based training courses is 45 minutes.

• The new web-based training courses – level: “Intermediate” – give you access to content developed by our Develon training team for use “in the field”. These are mainly video tutorials designed to support you in your daily work. This content is available free of charge around the clock and explains step by step how to calibrate machines or make specific settings on the machine.
• In order to continuously improve the quality and quantity of our service and product training courses, they are conducted in a professional environment at our training centers and are tailored precisely to the training needs of our dealers.
• The first training center, which we opened in Germany in the first quarter of 2025, is primarily aimed at our German, Austrian, Swiss and Northern and Eastern European dealers. This significantly expands our capacity to conduct training courses in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe.
• The second center is located in France. It is primarily aimed at the French dealer network, but is also available for internal and Southern European training courses.
